Albert D. Mosley Elected to Omicron Delta Kappa Board of Trustees

Lexington, VA (09/14/2023) — Albert D. Mosley, the 13th president of Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa, was recently elected to the Board of Trustees for Omicron Delta Kappa, the National Leadership Honor Society. He is a 1993 initiate of Millsaps College. His current term on the board will conclude on June 30, 2026.

The announcement was made by Jennifer L. Waller, ODK president and chief executive officer.

"Omicron Delta Kappa is thrilled to have Dr. Mosley join our Board of Trustees. We are grateful for his dedication to the Society," Waller said.

Since his arrival at Morningside in July 2022, Mosley has led the university in the launching of its School of Aviation and the introduction of three new academic programs (cybersecurity, supply chain management, and public health). Additionally, under his leadership, Morningside has implemented a targeted enrollment initiative designed to reach underrepresented populations; added women's wrestling as one of its 28 award-winning varsity sports; and debuted a rapid strategy pilot designed to allow the university to quickly pivot in response to market changes and demands.

Mosley is an accomplished leader and entrepreneur who previously served as the senior vice president and chief mission integration officer for Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare (MLH), a nonprofit, comprehensive, six-hospital healthcare system based in Memphis, Tennessee. In addition to serving on the ODK Board of Trustees, Mosley has held a variety of senior leadership roles in higher education, including at the Johns Hopkins University, Duke University, Bethune-Cookman University, and Gammon Theological Seminary. He holds degrees from Millsaps College, Duke University, Yale University, and the University of Georgia, and serves in leadership roles for many distinguished national and international organizations.
