Eastern Connecticut State University held its 14th Annual Arts and Sciences Research Conference and Exhibition at the end of the spring semester. The event featured oral and visual presentations of student-led scientific research and artwork. More than 50 presentations were delivered by students from a range of academic departments.

72 Students Achieve Leadership Certification
SUNY Oneonta recently recognized 72 students who achieved certification in the college's Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program during the spring 2014 semester. LEAD@Oneonta is a comprehensive leadership program based on current research and guidelines from the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. There are three levels of leadership certification: Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Great Problem Solvers
At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project addressing a challenge in their major field of study. Area Students Chosen for Select Leadership Program at Widener University
Widener University has chosen 12 undergraduate students to participate in the highly selective Oskin Leaders Program. Students in the program receive leadership training and one-on-one coaching that guides them through identifying and developing a leadership project. The program is administered by the Oskin Leadership Institute at Widener.
