Local Eastern Connecticut State University Students Participate in Pathways to Leadership Program
A number of Eastern Connecticut State University students have been participating in Pathways to Leadership, a tiered student leadership program series. The program has been developed based on Eastern's Strategic Planning Initiative to enhance on-campus culture by providing leadership training experiences for students. All Eastern students interested in developing leadership skills are invited to join the Pathways to Leadership program.

Local Crane School of Music Students to Perform at Lincoln Center
More than 200 students from The Crane School of Music at The State University of New York at Potsdam will make their collective Lincoln Center debut on May 1 in a performance of Giuseppe Verdi's monumental Messa da Requiem under the baton of Ann Howard Jones.
In celebration of the 125th anniversary of SUNY Potsdam's Crane School of Music, the entire Crane Chorus and members of the Crane Symphony Orchestra will travel to New York City for the Avery Fisher Hall concert.

It was no surprise to Linda Duke when students from William Woods University performed well at the recent tri-state Collegiate DECA competition.
"William Woods has exceptional, bright students, and they do very well in these competitions," said Duke, WWU assistant professor of marketing and business and the group's adviser.

One of the approximately 70 student clubs and organizations at Eastern Connecticut State University is Eastern's Music Society. The purpose of the Music Society is to enrich the Eastern community through the pursuit of music as an educational tool, as entertainment, and to promote a love of performance.
