Kaylee Goodspeed Receives Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship
Kaylee Goodspeed (Lamar University, 2022) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship. Kaylee Goodspeed graduated summa cum laude from Lamar University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in legal studies. During her undergraduate studies, Kaylee conducted award-winning research and served in several leadership roles. The positions she held included President of the Honors Student Association, President of the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society, Chief Justice of the Student Government Association's Supreme Court, Class Senator, Lamar University Ambassador and decorated member of the Moot Court team. Kaylee also represented the student body as a member of the Student Service Fee Committee. In recognition of her achievements, Kaylee was named a Senior of Significance among the graduating class of 2023. She also received a certificate of Academic Excellence for maintaining a near perfect GPA. Kaylee is currently pursuing a Juris Doctorate at the University of Houston Law Center, where she plans to continue strengthening her written and oral advocacy skills and promoting a fair future for all.

Coral C. Douglas Receives Sally K. Albrecht Fellowship in Arts Scholarship
Coral C. Douglas (LaGrange College, 2019) is a 2023-2024 recipient of the Sally K. Albrecht Fellowship in Arts Scholarship Coral Douglas (b. 1999) is a composer and multi-instrumentalist, focusing on digital audio manipulation, aesthetics, semiotics, and communication. They received a Bachelor of Music fromLaGrange College in 2020and a Master of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2022. Douglas is currently studying atCornell, in pursuit of the Doctorate of Musical Arts degree.As a composer, Douglas' focus lies within stylistic plurality, owing much of their musical ideas to the shared space between the Aesthetic and the Unknown. Resulting compositions seek to reinvent traditional linear models by placing value in the role of expectation. Coral places high value on composer-performer collaboration, which gives room for collective creativity and a candid, feedback-informed process.Beyond composition, Coral is active as an audio engineer, videographer and visual artist. Having served as a youth choral conductor and private lesson teacher, Coral firmly believes in the necessity of accessible, diverse music education.

Abigail Elbert Receives Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship
Abigal Elbert (University of Kentucky, 2020) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship. Abigail Elbert graduated from the University of Kentucky in May 2023 with a Bachelor of Science with a major in Human Health Science and two minors in Business and Health Advocacy along with a certificate in Clinical Leadership and Management. She also graduated Summa Cum Laude. Abigail had many leadership experiences throughout college which included Student President of ODK for two years and VP of BusinessAffairs for one year, Volunteer Chair and Treasurer for the Pre-Dental Society, Give Kids the World Coordinator and Treasurer for PreMed Activities Council, and an IHRC Residence Hall Representative. Abigail was also involved with other activities on campus such as Chi Omega, UK Alumni Ambassador, Education Abroad to Italy in the summer of 2022, and a weekly volunteer at the RMHC in Lexington. For all of her hard work, dedication, community spirit and leadership, Abigail was awarded Circle Leader of the Year in 2022 and made the University of Kentucky's Dean's List all four years of undergraduate education. Abigail is attending A.T. Still University-Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health this fall.She is very excited and ready to pursue her career in the dental field.

Rossella Gabriele Receives John R. Alford Scholarship in Law
Rossella Gabriele (Washington and Lee University, 2018) is a 2023-2024 recipient of the John R. Alford Scholarship in Law. RossellaGabriele received her B.S. from Washington & Lee University with degrees in physics and globalpolitics in 2019. There, she served as President of the Alpha Circle of ODK. Upon graduation, she worked asa mentor to high school girls interested in STEM careers from across the Middle East, North Africa, andCentral Asia with the US State Department's TechGirls Program. She then organized in Cedar Rapids, Iowafor Elizabeth Warren's Presidential Primary Campaign. Following leadership of a campus chapter of AmnestyInternational at W&L, Rossella then worked with Amnesty International professionally to facilitate theirWrite for Rights Campaign, serving as a specialist of 10 cases of human rights defenders wrongfullyimprisoned globally.A Rhodes Scholar, she received a degree in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from the University of Oxford,where she wrote extensively on AI ethics and served as the Career Team Lead of the Oxford AI Society. Now astudent at Yale Law School, she serves as the Co-Chair of the Student Representatives, the Chapter Directorof the International Refugee Assistance Project, and the First-Generation College Chair of the First-Generation Professionals. Taylor DeHart graduated cum laude with general honors from Clemson University in May 2019 with herBachelor of Science in Microbiology with a biomedicine concentration and minors in French and Genetics.While at ClemsonUniversity, Taylor was heavily involved on campus as a research assistant, tutor, and leader. In addition to serving as an executive board leader of ODK, Taylor also held leadership positions inDelta Zeta Sorority, Alpha Epsilon Delta Honor Society, Order of Omega Honor Society, and the ProfessionalGreek Council. She won two awards from the Fraternity and Sorority Life department for her exemplary leadership, service, and caring attitude. Taylor studied abroad in France, Lithuania, and Ecuador, and she was awarded the Benjamin A. Giselle De La Rua (University of Miami,2019) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Laura Larissa Morgan (University of Miami) Scholarship Giselle De La Ruagraduated cum laude from the University of Miami in May 2021 with her Bachelor ofScience with a major in neuroscience. Since graduation, Giselle has begun her studies at the University ofMiami Miller's School of Medicine. She currently serves in a number of roles across campus in organizationssuch as Academic Societies, Miami Street Medicine, Ultrasound Interest Group, and Medical Ethics InterestGroup. She also serves as a member of the Paff Award committee, Professional Identity Formation committee,and Office of Diversity, Inclusion, & Community Engagement (ODICE) Advisory Board. In addition to herleadership, Giselle is working alongside her peers and Dr. Kenneth Goodman to review and update medicalethics policies for the Public Health Trust of Miami-Dade. Giselle is also working alongside her mentor Dr.Paloma Toledo on a quality improvement study aiming to improve labor & delivery transfusion practices atJackson Memorial Hospital. Olivia DePergola (Duquesne University, 2021) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship. Olivia DePergolagraduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University in May 2023 with a Bachelor ofArts with a major in biochemistry and minors in biology and mathematics. During her undergraduate career,she served as president of the Duquesne University Circle, vice president of the International Forensic ScienceHonor Society, and treasurer of Gamma Sigma Sigma, a national service sorority. Her affiliation with thesegroups allowed her to connect with her campus and local communities as she became a regular volunteer,raising money for children's hospitals, cancer research, and mental health awareness, as well as building arecovery home for victims of human trafficking. Olivia also conducted independent research as a junior andsenior and was fortunate enough to be selected to participate in the Undergraduate Research Program atDuquesne.Olivia will attend graduate school in Duquesne University's Forensic Science and Law Program where she willcontinue her independent research on the human hyoid bone to discover the impact of age and sex on thestrength and fracture patterns of the bone in a simulation of manual strangulation to aid post-mortemdeterminations. Allyson Gail David Receives Key Fund Scholarship
Allyson David (Stockton University, 2022) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Key Fund Scholarship. Allyson Gail David graduated Summa Cum Laude at Stockton University in May 2022 with a B.S. inBiology, Pre Professionalstudies and a Disability studies minor. She obtained membership in Tri BetaBiological Honor Society of the Nu Tau Chapter and consistently achieved Dean's list standings. Allyson hasspent her time in between courses advocating in multicultural clubs such as Asian Student Alliance andPilipino American Student Association of Stockton. Alongside these extracurriculars, she led young prospectivemedical professionals as Co-Director of Public Relations and as Zeta Class Parent of the Alpha Pi Chapter ofDelta Epsilon Mu in 2021. Not only has she balanced full time status as a student but as a worker also. Herdedication to medicine grew exponentially as an urgent care technician and internal medicine medicalassistant. Rebecca Bovee (Ferris State University, 2022) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Omicron Delta Kappa Scholarship. Rebecca Boveeis, a 2026 Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate, studying at Ferris State University's College of Pharmacy. She currently serves as both Regent and House Manager of the Professional Pharmaceutical Fraternity Kappa Psi, New Member Coordinator of the Student Alumni Gold Club, Operation Disease Management of the American Pharmacists Association, and holds membership in Phi Lambda Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa. She enjoys traveling, singing, and volunteering. Rebecca is an Inner Circle volunteer at the Wharton Center for Performing Arts and assists as an usher in her free time. She is also a frequent blood donor and helps to promote and run blood drives on her college campus.In recognition of her exemplary leadership and involvement in both the campus and community, Rebecca was a Rising Star Award winner in May 2022. I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University magna cum laude with abachelor's degree in psychology and minors in Chemistry, Science, and Honors.I participated in undergrad research and didmy honors thesis on the effect of acute oxytocin administration onsocial behavior in male and female mice. I presented my research at the poster at the capital in Nashville, theBritish Conference of Undergraduate Research (BCUR) in England, and the National Conference onUndergraduate Research (NCUR). I served as an honors student ambassador, secretary of the ODK chapter,vice president of the psychology club, dental club, rotaract club, and student organization for the advancementof research ambassador. Catheryn Bolick (Middle Tennessee State University, 2019) is a 2023-2024 recipient of a Michael Barla Scholarship. Catheryn Bolick graduated magna cum laude with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Middle Tennessee StateUniversity (MTSU) in May 2023 with bachelor's degrees in biology and clarinet performance, with minors inFrench andchemistry. In 2018, she was one of only twenty students selected for the Buchanan Fellowshipprogram through the MTSU Honors College, culminating in November 2022 with the defense of her originalmolecular biology research thesis. She received several awards throughout her undergraduate career, mostnotably several Outstanding Student of the Year awards from the Biology Department and the HonorsCollege, as well as a 2023 Phi Kappa Phi National Fellowship. Jason Shows Recognized by Mississippi Humanities Council
Jason Shows, a 2004 initiate of the William Carey University Circle (chapter) of Omicron Delta Kappa, has been recognized by the Mississippi Humanities Council. Shows has been named the 2023 Humanities Teacher of the Year for the Perkinston campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC). He was recognized with the same honor in 2013. He recently gave a special address, in conjunction with the award, entitled "The Basis and Foundation of the American Revolution." Shows has taught at MGCCC for more than 15 years. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Shows is an active member of the Mississippi Professional Educators and Faculty Association. He is also the 2022 recipient of the In The Blue Award from MGCCC and the 2010 Lamplighter Award.
